Supporting ITC’s in Angola

Apoiando as TIC em AngolaSINFIC – Sistemas de Informação Industriais, S.A (SINFIC Angola) – has been a major ITC operator in Angola, since its establishment in 2001.


The strengthening of its competitive position in a market with new operators and the necessity to promote the optimization of operational efficiency of its business, forced SINFIC Angola to outline an ambitious investment project focused on upgrading its facilities in Luanda and Lubango.

The project presented to SOFID, amounting up to USD 6.6 million, based upon the construction and respective equipping, mainly with computer equipment, of the company’s new headquarters, aiming to optimize the use of human resources and technicians who were scattered all around and seize the business opportunities at a provincial level.


SOFID’s support resulted in the issue of a guarantee corresponding to 50% of a USD 4 million loan, granted by a local bank, BFA. Given the quick diversification of the private sector in Angola, SOFID’s support will contribute to broaden the technical products support offered to the country’s companies.
